Experimental status of neutrino scattering physics and needed measurements

Knowledge of neutrino interactions with a nuclear target at the neutrino energy around sub-GeV is recently getting more and more important as necessary information for accelerator based neutrino oscillation experiments. A study of neutrino interactions contains rich physics of neutrinos with nucleus, and is used to reveal the properties of neutrinos in the oscillation measurements. We review th...

Recent Progress in Neutrino Astrophysics

Recent progress in neutrino physics has been rapid, to a large extent thanks to observations of neutrinos produced in astrophysical environments. Here, we review the current standing on such questions as neutrino masses and mixings, focusing mainly on the interplay between neutrino physics, astrophysics and cosmology.

Results from Harp and Their Implications for Neutrino Physics

Recent results from the HARP experiment on the measurements of the double-differential production cross-section of pions in proton interactions with beryllium, carbon and tantalum targets are presented. These results are relevant for a detailed understanding of neutrino flux in accelerator neutrino experiments MiniBooNE/SciBooNE, for a better prediction of atmospheric neutrino fluxes as well as...
